Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team in Domburg, Netherlands. As our QA for Staging 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products before they move to production.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for staging environments
- Perform thorough functional and non-functional testing of software applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate tools
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes don't affect existing functionality
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality
- Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and test results
- Contribute to the development of automated test scripts when applicable
- Ensure that all tested software meets quality standards before release
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
- Proven experience with test planning, execution, and reporting in staging environments
- Familiarity with deployment processes and version control systems
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in using test management tools and bug tracking systems
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and scripting languages
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
