Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Automation Engineer specializing in Android 7 (Nougat) to join our team in Prypiat, Ukraine. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for our Android applications, with a focus on Android 7 compatibility and performance
Qualifications
- You've got a shiny Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or something equally geeky (we won't judge if it's in Muggle Studies, as long as you can code!)
- You've been taming Android bugs for 3+ years, like a digital {NAME}
- You're a wizard with Android automation testing tools like Appium or Espresso (no actual magic wand required, though it would be cool)
- You know Android SDK and Android 7 (Nougat) like the back of your hand (or the front of your phone)
- Your Java or Kotlin skills are so sharp, you could slice a pixel in half
- You've got mad version control skills, preferably with Git (bonus points if you can explain Git to your grandma)
- You're besties with CI/CD pipelines (or at least on speaking terms)
- You understand the software development lifecycle so well, you could write a soap opera about it
- Your problem-solving skills are so good, you could probably figure out how to fold a fitted sheet
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment (think "{NAME} fast," not "snail on vacation" fast)
- Your attention to detail is so intense, you spot typos in skywriting
- If you've got certifications in software testing or Android development, we'll do a happy dance (but it's cool if you don't)
- You've got more experience with mobile app testing than a teenager has with their smartphone
